Monster Oliver 88 Puller

Oliver Green... The FULL pull Green!

This is my newest and most deadly weapon in my arsenal of pulling tractors, my 1949 Oliver 88 Row Crop. This tractor is strictly set up for pulling and even though it has the original motor block and serial numbers from the factory in 1949, it is not a show or stock looking tractor. This is all business. Everything is custom made from the wheels, tires, hitch, dolly bars, weight brackets, air intake, exhaust stack, gas tank, steering wheel, seat, decals, etc.

This is the best pulling tractor I have ever owned.

Notice the custom decals, flames on the nose and the extremely large and "razor-sharp" cut tires.

Custom stainless-steel intake (with K&N conical filter) and polished exhaust

Also notice the front mount aluminum gas tank, weight bars, high back seat and Grant racing steering wheel.

Here you can see my custom "wheelie bars", seat decal and PTO cover.

The hitch is also custom made from scratch and is fully adjustable so the height and angle of the hitch can easily be changed for different track hardness.

Here you can see my fender extensions. All 4 of my pulling tractors have fender extensions, which was a factory option from Oliver. (It's my trademark!)

I also had to make spacers and move the fenders in 4 inches on each side just so that the enormous tires could fit!

I usually pull in the C.O.T.P.A. (Central Ontario Tractor Pullers Association) in any and all classes between 4500lbs. and 8500lbs. That's right... this tractor actually weighs less than 4500lbs., thanks to steel wheels and weight reduction. I just got this tractor this year and have been experimenting with it a lot so I have only been out to a few pulls so far. I won a few and got a few top 5's, mostly because I was in the wrong gear or had the weights improperly distributed. I won the 4500lbs. trophy (for most points accumulated over the season) two years ago with my 770 and I hope to compete for the 5500lbs. and 6500lbs. class trophy's next year with this beast!
